Your private transfer will meet you at the Cape Town International Airport upon your arrival. After settling into the comforts of your luxury accommodations located in the heart of the bustling city, you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can bask in the iconic Cape Town skyline of its two sister mountains, Lion's Head and Devil's Peak, or wander through harbour waterfront where there is always a hum of activity with vessels big and small moving in and out or being repaired. Perhaps search for a restaurant to enjoy the fine food on offer in South Africa’s culinary capital. If you have enough time and the it is a clear day, why not grab a taxi and head towards the Table Mountain Cable Station for the five minute Cableway ride up to the top, where you can purchase a drink and celebrate your arrival in Africa with incredible views over the city and ocean while the sun sets over the Atlantic.

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Accommodation, Transfers

DAY 2 CAPE TOWN, Victoria & Alfred Hotel, Cape Peninsula Tour

Your guide will meet you at your hotel after breakfast and introduce you to the wonders of Cape Peninsula, on a small group tour, that takes you along the more than four miles of beautiful Atlantic coast following Chapman’s Peak Drive. One of the most scenic routes in the world offers views over deserted beaches, sheltered bays, and stunning rocky outcrops. The charming village of Hout Bay presents images of wading wooden fishing boats accompanied by the aromas of barbecued crayfish and traditional frying fish. Cape Point Nature Reserve and the lighthouse up high, is the southernmost point of your day tour, where the two oceans meet! One of the highlights of your day is still to come, the characterful penguins of Boulders Bay, before passing Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on your way back to the city.

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Small group tour, accommodation, areakfast

DAY 4 CAPE TOWN, Victoria & Alfred Hotel

Cape Winelands Tour If you haven’t tried it yet, perhaps sample South Africa’s famous rooibos tea at breakfast before you meet your guide in the lobby, ready to explore the famous Cape Winelands. You will have a full-day excursion dedicated to indulging in the flavours of South African wine and exploring the scenic winelands. While the tour is of the winelands, this day is about so much more than just tasting wine – delicious food, art, history, architecture, gardens, cheese, chocolate and so much more – with a private guide you can tailor the day exactly as you wish.

DAY 4 - 6 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, Bateleur Safari Camp

In the morning, you will have a private transfer to Cape Town Airport for your domestic flight to Mpumalanga, where you will continue to your lodge in the exclusive Timbavati Game Reserve. After settling in, you can view the wildlife from your room or the lodge deck. Head out on your first safari drive this afternoon. Impala are everywhere while giraffe glance at you over the trees and elephants stroll across riverbeds. Spend the next few days exploring further and deeper with expert guides on game drives and safari walks, in search of the famous Big Five; lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Dinners outdoors, around a fire, are a safari tradition, as is a gin & tonic at sunset.

DAY 7 WHITE RIVER, Oliver’s Country Lodge, Panorama Route Tour

After your final safari activity and breakfast, you will be collected and taken on a private tour of the Panorama Route. Breath-taking views, plunging waterfalls, eagles flying above you and a rich history, quite literally, as it includes the gold rush years, are the kinds of things you will discover. “Guarded” by the small town of Graskop, this famous route is home to mountains, forests and canyons, most notably, the Blyde River Canyon, which is also the world’s largest “green canyon”. Spend the night at a luxury lodge in the town of White River where mouth-watering food, fine wines and a wellness retreat are all on offer.

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Private day tour, Accommodation, Breakfast

DAY 8 & 9 VICTORIA FALLS, Batonka Lodge

You will have a private transfer to the airport in the morning for your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, where you will continue by private transfer to your luxury accommodation. This afternoon, take a lodge transfer to the mighty falls. While waterfalls around the world might be higher, or wider, none are as powerful as Victoria Falls. You will hear the series of cascades before you see them, with the mighty thunder roaring day and night. You will wander along the walkways for views of the water plunging 328 feet into a gaping chasm resulting in dramatic plumes of mist. The spray will sail above the lip and cover the walkways and crowds of people.

‘Vic Falls’ has numerous activities on offer, from game drives in Vic Falls National Park, helicopter flips, bungee jumps, ziplines and village tours – so the morning can be filled with any of these but the afternoon and evening of your final night, is reserved for the great Zambezi River and a fabulous sunset dinner, a fitting farewell from Africa.
