Diary excerpts from a Family Safari and 60th Birthday Celebration in South Africa

[2025/10/18, 12:01:21] Louise : OMG what a morning - watched a wild dog kill that drove an impala straight into the site of a cheetah and her cub who was also caught followed by lions, rhino and then turned the corner and there was a leopard! Phenomenal and so thrilling. First of 13 drives 😅 [2025/10/29, 13:09:23] Louise : Loved using it [Nikon Z8], but definitely should have taken my laptop with me so I could review them properly each day - few things I would have done differently in hindsight but I’ve got some lovely shots so I’m pleased!

[2025/10/29, 13:10:07] Louise : Mum had a wonderful 60th - all she could have hoped for I think! Seeing the leopard was incredible, not one you get to witness often so I think that was my favourite. Also cheetah cubs playing (gorgeous!!)
